A first attempt on a hand made paper...
This one is from a pic taken at the Raigad fort. The Tree is the highlight of this painting...infinite branches..but sill has a symmetry..used sketch pen to highlight the small branches..

Always look out for...

Observation is the key for any form of Art..specially drawing. Still life is something we can try it out at home..look out for some light/shadow places..and go on.
One change which I observed after taking up brush and paints is that, I have started looking for any possible spot or situation as prospect for drawing..thats the change in the perspective of how you look at the things around you.. Any simple/ordinary looking thing/situation/spot can turn out to be a good prospect for drawing..

This is just an attempt to capture the effect of light entering from a window on a pot..

Start of the journey..from the lanes of Nashik

Uptill now I was hesitant to use watercolors..dont know why.. may be a bit of lazyness..i liked pencils as they are easy to carry and dont create a mess.. Finally took the brush and colors..its a great feeling..lets see how this journey goes..
